I can't seem to get my head around this one? Are we looking East? is that the Whelley line in the background or Liverpool road? there's a bridge???? please help Maurice.

Hi John,it is the old rail line,now the cycle path,I think the bridge was close to the greenwaters,it will be Liverpool Rd at the back and the building at the top right near the chimney may be the bus depot,but not sure.

Maurice, the bus depot is there and also, you can just see the gc line going under liverpool road, walked over there most of my young years, its a pity that no photos survive of the old mellings flash which was destroyed for the open cast coaling
