I took this a few years ago and its ages since I walked up the canal bank. is this building still there?

It's still there, Gerry. My friend Neil's Dad used to deliver papers as a young lad, around the 20s/30s and was terrified of going there in the dark mornings and nights of Autumn and Winter.

I don't know it, but I'm glad it's still there, a bit of local history..not all has been demolished or left to rot like so many other old and once wonderful buildings...

I used to deliver papers to Ince Hall Irene and got the same feeling on dark mornings... dont forget that Peggy Beawt Yed lived there...

Parts of it look Elizabethan. Does anyone know anything about the history of the place?

Thanks Irene. I saw them. When I tried to Google it, it just mentioned a hall in Leeds and the pub on the canal.
