Hindley's Leyland Free Library. Hindley & District History Society have a museum on the top floor. Only open when the Soc' have people to man it. If you telephone the Library, they can tell you when it is open, usually some Wed's, Fri' or Saturdays. E.T.

Turner`s Butchers was on the right of the picture.Frank Turner was my Father-In=Law (Joan`s Dad).
