From where you've taken the shot, you are in Hall lane. Ladies lane is on the other side of the lines.

According to Google map, Ladies Lane only ends at the junction with Highfield Road. Of course, Google could be wrong. That would be nowt new as it lists some parts of Lower Ince as Pemberton!

I WAS BORN AT 11 HAWORTH ST AT THE BOTTOM OF LADIES LANE IN 1938 THE BRIDGEIN THE DISTANCE WE CALLED THE ( IRON BRIDGE) WE PLAYED THERE MANY TIMES WATCHING THE TRAINS GO BY. THANKS FOR MEMORIES
Lived at 8 Highfield Rd from 1959 until the mid 1970s. It was a lovely place to grow up, we spent lots of time on the iron bridge.
