A nostalgic photo. Back in the late 1940's at Easter we would take our coloured hard boiled eggs & roll them down the slope at the right hand side of the pic...kept doing it till they cracked when they hit the tarmac path...then we peeled & ate them !

I remember being taken in the cafe by my parents...you could sit upstairs in those days. I was so sad when it stood closed for many years, and thrilled when it re-opened. I recently took my grand-daughter in, expecting it to have changed beyond all recognition but no.....it was just as I remembered!
