Thomas Hargreaves born 26.9.1873 and his wife, Sarah Jane Gaskell (mother Hannah Fairhurst, Kitt Green, Wigan)
He was lock keeper at Gathurst for 18 years until his death there in 1939.
These photos have been kindly lent by Doreen Tickle of Shevington who is the granddaughter of Thomas Hargreaves.
There is a lot of family history held appertaining to the Hargreaves family, anyone wishing to know more can contact me VIA the webmaster and I will endeavour to help.
