Access to the site was via Frith Street, the site included a pallet company, Calderbanks scrap metal, Fairhurst recycling and the Orwell Freight Company. The site is now closed and due to be demolished to make way for a B&Q superstore.

I worked here '88-'89 when it was Centrepart (Autohypersave Ltd). It was a glorified breakers yard. Loved my time there with a great bunch of lads. The firm went into receivership after the MD (David Levy I think his name was) ran off with all the money!
