Christine McGugan in front of 18 Teck Street. My mother (nee Walsh) was born and brought up here. We lived there until about 1961 then moved to Upholland. Note the gated entryway into the communal backyard directly past the front door, the cobblestones and the old truck at the far end. Teck Street was split by Cambridge Street. Photo taken on Walking Day.

Can you tell me if Teck St was near Spring Street off Darlington St. For family history purposes.

Teck Street's only junction was with Cambridge Street, off Darlington Street East. Cambridge Street was where St Patrick's Way is now, I believe.

silverwell was on the corner of cambridge st and darlington st east when I lived in harper st

Didn't this street run onto Silver St? I seem to recall walking along there to get onto Darlington St via Silver St.

Just doing some family research. My grandfather was a child at #6 Teck St in the 1890 census. Love the photo!

mICHAEL mORAN LIVED AT NO. 9. HE WAS A RELATIVE, HE AND HIS WIFE HAD APPROX 10 CHILDREN. UNFORTUNATELY HE WAS A WIDOWER BY TIME HE WAS 56. HE WAS A BUILDER BY TRADE. ANYONE ANY MORE INFO, I HAVE HIS CHILDRENS NAMES.
