It looks as if I haven’t quite finished with Wigan Lane. I offer a different view of the Millstone Pub in Wigan Lane, taken from the opposite side of the road. The two young men in the photo were at the time French pen friends who were over here on an exchange visit with their pen friends from Wigan, who happened to be Wigan Girls’ High School students, one of whom, was my sister.
