Wigan Album

Apologies for reposting this photo. On the previous posting several people commented on their memories of friends and family who lived in the street. Several years ago my mother drew a street plan from when she used to live at number 32. She reckoned that the photo was taken from the corner of Boyswell Lane looking down towards Lower Morris Street. Can anyone confirm this? Also, on the left hand side there appears to be a sign above a doorway. Unfortunately it’s too indistinct to read. Again, has anyone any ideas what it might say?
