In connection with Ron’s posting of the George Ormrod building illustration, which no doubt employs artistic licence. Here is the other posting that was mentioned i.e. a photograph of the same scene from 1884 onwards.
I have pin pointed the same part of the Moot Hall Chambers on both illustrations and you can just make out the stone arch that indicates an entry to the churchyard.

Quite a contrast Kieth and very interesting.
Despite the current use of the former bank it is a beautifully designed building, far more graceful than the old warehouse.

Was the building next to the Post Office once Wade Deacon's bank? It had a very small car park in front of it.
