Going … Going …
Did you plant that tree Ozy?
Are we talking about the one at the bottom of the ramp Mick , or the one at the top ?
But whichever one you mean , the answer is no .
yn1Ozy did you occasionally drive those mixers at various concrete plants?
I didn't the the one at the top Ozy.
Yes , I did John . I’ve driven yours an ‘all … and Malc’s , and Sandra’s and Tommy’s , and Darren’s , and Pete Gemmel’s , and Birchy’s and Frank Derrick’s and both of the Lawrenson’s and a shedload a of others besides … or have you forgotten about the transferometer ?
Hahaha I thought there’s only one Ozy how you doing pal, never forget about the trasferometer.
Btw John , for Darren , read Warren , but I expect you figured that out anyway .
Jeez … did that bloke ever know how to keep a truck clean .
I wonder how the old lad’s keeping ?
Ozy I believe Warren is doing ok and did spend a lot of time on Facebook (not my scene) you may recollect Eddie from Blackburn plant I’m visiting him tomorrow as he’s not been to good.
Yeah , I drove Eddie’s truck as well , out of the Blackburn plant .
Yon mon was one of life’s characters .
If I’m not mistaken , both of his lads are still pulling out of Bamber with John Moses’ lad
‘ Diesel ‘ , but I’ve become a little out of touch of late tbh .
Hope Eddie’s o.k….
Tell him Eddie Irvine was asking after him .
He may not remember me … but then again…
Yes Ozy I’ll definitely tell him you’ve been asking about him,he has 3 sons 2 work out of Blackburn plant and Steve (Chips)his middle son was 50 a couple of weeks back works out of Skipton plant and I go riding bike with Steve occasionally,John Abrahams son Diesel (Mark Abraham)packed in with Concrete Mixers a few years back
Ozy I’m afraid Eddie didn’t remember you but maybe understandable as he’s not in the best of health,he did thank me for visiting him and Chips (Steve) and Ted were there. You will afto join us two weeks before Christmas at Wetherspoons Westhoughton or Wigan I’m sure you will know a few of the lads but you would be made welcome anyway.
Can’t say I’m surprised tbh John .
It must be 20 years or more since I worked out of the Blackburn plant .
We were doing the housing development on Milking lane at that time … among others obviously.
I recall Eddie used to park his truck on a farm near the old power station , as they’d had a lot of problems with the pikeys when they were leaving them on the plant .
Similar thing with the Pioneer plant at Bolton .
It wasn’t advisable to fuel up before parking up for the weekend .
Ozy there’s me thinking that you were Ozy from New Springs near Harvey’s bakery that was,and it turns out that your - - - - - that I know, you kept that quite as I’ve been talking to Stuart today so get that bike battery charging .
