I don't remember Ronnie, but I might remember his daughters who used to dance barefoot on the bar in Clowns on Woodhouse lane back in the 80s.

You may well Bruce . One of the girls was named Tina , I forget the other girl’s name ( to my eternal shame ) .
Amazing how quickly the years pass though innit ?
Those two girls would be nearing pension age by now I reckon . Who’d a thought it eh ? ….. it’s nowt short o’ Fricknin .
And I haven’t heard anything of Ronnie for yonks either .

Hi, Ronnie was my grandad, we unfortunately lost him 3 years ago. He made it 94 years old! And still lived in the caravan up until then. He had 6 kids, 12 grand kids and an amazing 22 great grand kids!

We worked together at Ravenhead from 1982 until I left in about 1988 .

You may have seen this photo before as I had it enlarged and Hilda had it framed and hung it on the wall .

I hadn’t seen Ronnie for a number of years , but I knew he must be getting on as he was in his sixties when the photo was taken .
Ronnie was a great bloke and we had many a pint together in the Plough and Harrow after work .
Hilda had to come and pick him up on occasions .
I’ve got a fair bit of video featuring Ronnie if you have a VHS player .

I haven’t seen Bob or Mark for a number of years either .
