This is the photo I intended to send to suppliment Andrews picture. Sorry about the quality but it is a picture I submitted to Wigan Observer some time ago,I am unable to find my original among the stuff that we all keep, it shows the interior of Coops factory. My mum Nellie Barrow is in the centre of the shot.
This has a similar look to my photo with crowds of mostly women workers around wooden tables, though i don't make out sewing machines in this one. Interestingly I can't spot windows with the rounded tops in this one.
