1818 Beam engine made by James Lindsay for the Hannibal Price Sugar Plantation, Jacmel, Haiti . This exists in an overgrown, derelict condition

Interesting that it was made in Wigan and then shipped to Haiti, but sad to realise that at the time slavery existed in the production of sugar .
