Anyone remember a woman called Yvonne who worked in that florist around 1994, long dark hair, think she Emigrated, originally from Old Skem, but lived in Ashton.

What an eyesore it was, blame wigan planners for letting it be built in the first place

It may not have been pretty, but plenty people were glad it was there.
Wigan Metro only took over Ashton in 1974 - this looks like a 1960s building, erected under the Ashton UDC.
