Hi whups. Who are you? I worked at Golborne from 1972 to 1986, then at Sutton Manor and Parkside till I got out in 1988.I was one of the surveyors.These photos were all taken by the Coal Board photographer, that's why they are such good quality.I acquired them when they closed the survey office down at Golborne and moved to Bickershaw.They would probably have been chucked down the shaft just like everything else was.I have loads more and I'll put em on soon.

was my first job down the pit with jack turner ronnie pilling powcat, tanoy jonh golden and tony sweeper owd harry pilling on the over head engine and jimmy armstrong was the firemam.

i remember you starting with pat woods becky . you left out john musins.did you know tony witkevis ( sweetpea) died .
