Centre, with the light cardigan,Alf Rigby descd,My father in law and top bloke,(he was the union man).
Alf Rigby worked with me at Park Colliery and also at Parkside. We went on a trip to Bold Gala along with Albert Johnson, Trevor Jones and their families, all crammed into my 12 seater. Good old days!!
second from the right is my dad, John Richard Hughes. Was a foreman on maintainence. Most people knew him as Dick but his mum hated it and insisted on calling him Richard which he hated just as much!!!! Top dad and Friend. Sorely Missed.
