mrs turner now dead was history teacher. the two girls sitting down on left of mrs turner susan hindley and christine farrel i still see them today
she taught me french
She taught me history but was still Miss Woods at that time (1958-62).
She taught me both History and French.
one of the nicest teachers in the school. she still recognised when I used to bump into her shopping at tesco just before she died.

Hello Pat, lovely to see your posting. Hope you are well. I noticed your comment regarding Miss Whittaker and the book you have which she had used when we had to sing for her. I dread to think what she had written ahout me, my voice is still as bad now as it was then.
i would like to hear from any body, who remembers me when i went to st marks,in 1969 1971, and my last year at school was the deanery.
Mrs Turner was a lovely teacher and taught French and history. I loved her lessons as she kept control of the class in a nice way. Good memories
