Is the student in the third row at the extreme right hand side George Hodgkinson? If so does anyone have George's contact details. I worked with George at AT&E Pemberton.

Henry, the lad sat behind the shield is Arthur Heaton, he lived at Downall Green.

Yes, that is Arthur Heaton sitting behind the shield. Sadly, he passed away in 2007.

I remenber Arthur Heaton he lived in Bryn Gates and was the fastest kid around for miles. I believe he ran the hundred yards in 12.1 seconds in his first year.
