I met Ricky Parkinson last year for the first time in YEARS and it was an ABSOLUTE pleasure to see him! I haven't seen Mr Radcliffe in a while but last time I saw him he hadn't changed very much!! Still a very nice fella!

Mrs Davies, I haven't seen Ricky in 10 years or so, he was stillliving in Platt Bridge. Mr Radcliffe is teaching locally (head) at a primary school.

I think from looking at this picture again, that it is Lee Thompson with Leon Gittins.

This wasn't low hall playing field it was the old moss lane school foot ball pitch after it was turfed I used to play on it when it was all dirt we called it iodine park when I went to moss lane

For Shamus, who commented this wasn't Low Hall Playing field, in fact it was. Low Hall school was opened in the 1970s when the old Moss Lane secondary school closed. The building was adapted to accommodate the primary school and the Nursery Unit was built in the school yard and opened in 1976. The field behind the school was used all year round, not just for sports days.
