Wigan Album

Does anyone remember the photograph that hung in the assembly hall which was of the whole school when it first opened in 1953? What happened to the photo after the school changed to Wigan College?

I am first left in the second row. Back row left to right is Eddie Lawson, Alan Roberts and Colin Swift. Front row first left is Roy Smith,fourth left is Alan Croft and second right is Joe Fitzpatrick. Prior to the school opening in 1954 we had all at Wigan Junior Tech in Library Street and we became the first third year students at Thomas Linacre. Alan Roberts and myself became good friends but we lost touch in the early 60's.
