Wigan Album

The war was on.wigan was in darkness.Itwas the blackout,but we enjoyed those great three years,especially being the sports champ.Never saw lots of my school pals after I left.Would be delighted to hear from any of you.The first few names were ANDERTON,BALL{wing commander,died recently with military funeral in NORFOLK}BARLOW{who I still play bowls with} BLACKBURN,BRADLEY,BROWN,CULKIN{DR}etc Would love to hear from any of you.BRAD.

I went to Wigan Tech 1950-1953. Very happy memories of those school days. Emigrated to Australia in 1965, but still kept in touch with a few class mates. Enjoyed trips to Wigan Little Theatre with english teacher Dacre Brown. Anyone remember the 1983 reunion ?

Dacre Brown was my Geography teacher at the TLS 1957-62. Never heard any of the pupils have a bad word about him Went of a school trip to Switzerland in 19578 along with another well liked teacher Dennis Pegg. Dacre's wife Margaret nee Fleetwood, is still living in Wigan.
