I think I remember Baxter. Is that one of the 2 brothers from Leigh (Clarence Street)? They were a few years ahead of me - I originated from Leigh so I knew the family - and "Spank" Povah - the butcher's son.

PostScript. I think the Baxter brothers were John and Fred.

I remember Graham Barton and his Dad.

Neither myself or Fred are on this photo, Fred never played for the u13s or 14s but I did and I am on the other photo same web page with a couple of thes lads with Mr Dichonsons team.

Dave Povah didn't play either but we all still live in Leigh, I still see David occasionally.
