What a lot of children, I take it this was more than one class!!!!
The little boy at the front shielding his eye's from the sun stands out.
I wonder what they are all doing now.
I remember having class photos taken at school but for some reason I never had or seen a photograph of any class I was in.

Which school did you go to Pw ? You might find your school under the category of ‘Schools’. There’s loads of photos of Wigan Schools.
Veronica,I went to Argyle St. in Hindley.I have looked before and there are a few class photos but none of my class.I recognise many people on these photos. Thanks for your reply.
When did you attend Argyle Street, Pw? My husband's family went there. Their name is Roberts.
I went there for five years 1960 to 1965.
Forgot to say it was the senior school,it was then called Hindley County Secondary School, before that I went to St. Peters.I did know a few people with the name Robert’s at both schools.
Peter's brothers and sisters who went to Argyll Street were Angela, Marina, Tony, and Peter, (my husband), His youngest sister, Ann, was only born in 1963 and went to Mornington Road. They didn't attend St. Peter's Primary School though....they went to All Saints.
