My school, and Elizabeth's in the 1960s. And we DID still wear gymslips and hats....remember, Elizabeth?

I do indeed remember Irene Navy blue uniform and hats,usually perched as far back on our heads as we could get away,with the help of hair grips! ....Tell you what though,it was quite strict but did us no harm.x

You can see some of them in the group on the right have Panama hats on as well ...... I definitely remember it Irene.x

I remember there were panama hats in the 1960s for the Summer months but I only recall one girl wearing one. There were blue and white cotton dresses for Summer too but I never had one.
