Yes I'm there as well, Janet France. We were great friends later in the senior years! Recognise names and some faces!
It would be great to have a re-union to catch up with everyone and see how we all turned out!

This is my class too but darned if I can't find meself. Reunion planned this year for all who attended St Marks during the sixties. More details later.
I saw this photo last night, and today I dug out my copy of it. My mum has written on the back "June 1963, class 2A, teacher Miss Lowe". I'll had a stab at naming the girls, and hope I don't offend anyone if I can't remember their name or get their name wrong. L to R Carole Law?, Lorraine Humphreys?, Shirley Green, Christine Wilson?, Dorothy Kay, Jean Hammond, ?, Edith Birch?, Lynne Redfearn, June?, Janet France. L to R at the front - Carol Scaldwell, Shirley?, Judith Lee, and me Christine Byrne. I remember some teachers - Mr Pennington, Mr Carruthers, and Mr Martindale. Can anyone remember the others? Hope everyone's well. Where have the 50 years gone!

was discussing (amongst friends) recently how things used to be at school back in the 50's. some terrible stories revealed!!!! when I told of Mr. Pennington and his electric shock treatment (yes, really), no-one believed it. luckily, I have seen many comments on this site referring to this otherwise, I might believe that I had dreamed it. WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?
Just reminded me about Mr Pennington he used to get us hold hands in a circle then give us an electric shock still remember his car green and cream I think I'm Janet Movile's brother I'm 6 year younger but still remember Shirley Green Carole Law Barbara and Carole Scalldwell
I remember the electric shocks with Mr Pennington and being told off if you let go and broke the circle. I also remember the name Lynne Redfern my name was Judith Ellis then, have been trying to find info about the class I was in but can't remember many names but all your info rings bells with me
I`ve been meaning to do this for years so hear goes and if I get any name wrong apologies but it is 56 years ago!

Edith Birch, Thought that I saw you in a pub in Dalton near Carlisle a few years ago having lunch with your Mum. I was so sure that I nearly asked if it was you but didn't. Then on your way out the barman said see you Edith. Was it the Sun inn?
my younger brother Ian is 2nd left on 3rd row. unfortunately he died in 2020. RIP
