Dacre is a name I have never heard before.

His name was Irving Goddacre Brown, but everyone knew him as Dacre. His wife is a longtime family friend, and his late brother-in-law was Kenneth Fleetwood, fashion designer to the Queen. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/obituary-kenneth-fleetwood-1309416.html

Angela is it not GOODACRE? Do you know if his wife has seen this photo. Wasn't she a teacher at the Girls High School? Dacre Brown was one of the most well liked teachers at the school. Never heard anyone have a bad word for him.

Dacre was a shortened version of his real name which was the rather posh Monica “Irving Goodacre Brown.” Having appeared in stage with Dacre a number of times at WLT I can assure everyone that this information is accurate

Dacre Browns wife Margaret Fleetwood was a music teacher at Whelley Sec Mod school in the the late 1950s she was a fantastic teacher who loved musical theatre .
