Chris Dunn, I’m afraid your just a ? to me too. The good looking lad next to you (second row, fourth from the left) is me – David McLeish.
In fact I only seem to remember Paul Gittens, Tony Culshaw, Mark Hamson, Paul Mears, Neil Higham, Stuart Shelmadene, Anthony Gallagher, Mark Kearsley, Eva Tang, Charlotte Alcock and Andy Dunn.

Hi David, I do remember your name now, you had an older brother who's name I cant remember, he had ginger hair, right??. I do remember another person on the photo, the lad on the back row far left is "Nigel? Ormesher". The photo was sent in by Colin Bamber's mum, Florrie. And I just couldn't remember Mark H surname, Hampson, yes I remember now. I think this photo was taken around 1981/2 and not 79 as Florrie says. Take it easy David, Nice to hear from you.

What a shock to see all these faces - I was one of your teachers way back then! My husband found these photos and just HAD to show me them! It was a pleasure to teach you all, honestly!!!! Hope you're all well? I've retired early and enjoying a different style of life - doing what I want to do without any stress!

FAO Mrs Davies. Hi, do you remember the art competition at Drum Croon? I was in your class at the time. I remember you picked the kids for it in assembley. Hope life is treating you well! do you still have the polo mints handy? ;0)
Chris.

Comment by: Mrs Diana Davies on 1st July 2008 at 13:28

FAO Chris Dunn. Hi, Chris! No, no polo mint bribes needed these days!!! Unfortunately the years haven't always been too kind to me and mine but we're still here to tell the tale! One thing NO-ONE can take away from me are the memories of all of you - all characters in your own way! Unfortunately though you'd probably NOT recognise me in the street BUT this IS A LOVELY WAY TO SAY HELLO!!!!!!!!

3rd row - second from left is Richard Porter and fourth is Jill Hooson. 1st row - second from right is called Tony (will remember his surname soon!). I remember Miss Davies, think she taught me is Class 5. She had curly hair and was a nice teacher. A few of these people were in my class later on (they mixed people around for some reason?!)

Comment by: Allison Green on 21st February 2009 at 16:18

Told you I'd remember his surname - Tony Alker! He was supposed to come to Byrchall with a few of us but moved to St Helens instead. I remember you Glen Jones, think you were one of the Byrchall gang too!

Comment by: Allison Green on 21st February 2009 at 16:41

Someone mentioned Melvyn Furlong - did he play the Cowardly Lion in our Wizard of Oz play? Would love to see some photos of that - I was a munchkin (along with Tony Culshaw & Anthony Gallagher I think!). I used to love the school plays - I wish I still had my 'Jesus Folk' t-shirt, it would be so retro now!

Comment by: Allison Green on 22nd February 2009 at 21:38

Tony Friar - not Alker (doh!). There was someone called Alker, think his first name may have been Steven.

Comment by: mark hampson on 25th March 2009 at 16:58

look at me bottom row 3rd from left haha

Comment by: Chris Dunn on 7th April 2009 at 21:48

Alison. In my first comment, you will see that its "Tony Culshaw" not Friar. ;0)

Comment by: Chris Dunn on 7th April 2009 at 21:57

Sorry Alison. Tony Culshaw is second from the left front row, he is not the lad second right as I stated. oops. :0)

Comment by: Glenn Jones on 16th October 2009 at 00:20

Comment by: Anne Welding on 10th March 2011 at 19:17

Goodness me. I remember most of you lot from Low Hall Nursery. I bet you won't remember me from all those years ago. Tony Culshaw used to love to pinch the skin off my milky coffee. I was probably Miss Williamson when you were in the Nursery, I got married in 1983. I had to retire from teaching in 2001, because I was ill. I have some lovely and funny memories of Low Hall Nursery, it was a very special place.

Comment by: Chris Dunn on 1st August 2011 at 22:11

I think most will remember you Anne, you and "Julie"
I was gutted when I found out the school had been demolished, I would have loved to have had a look around before it dissapeared.

Comment by: Leon Gittins on 21st October 2014 at 21:12
