this photo shows me as the vicar.colin scott,the father,the proud mother,i think wasmiss birchall'the bridegroom is keith mitcheson,thr bride was lilian hoctor,and finally the page boy was brian thuston,the photographer the headmaster was mr barnes,his son geoffrey was a reporter in wigan,thereal vicar was mr. stonely, and mr. watkinson,i think hwas rector. i never became a vicar,in real life,,but i worked for the ncb,at the maypole,and wigan junction pits before joining the lancashire constabulary,in 1961,and the g.m.police,in l974,working in thr manchester area,residing in flixton,urmston,trafford.happy days!!!

hi brian did you live on bell green lane across from the school as i remember a lovely lady mrs thurston she always made our walking day dresses she had a son and daughter who were older than me i lived in york st hr ince and went to st williams.maybe its you? lovely photos.

I remember Roy Ashurs He passed the 11 plus when I did and we went to Aashton grammar schooltogether. I used to meet him at the bottom of Belle Green lane and we travelled to school together.But he left the grammar school after a short time .
