Hello there Albert. There are still two names outstanding.
I found Jim Dandy from the four names you entered, I thought of Malcolm Gent after I'd submitted my previous comment, but you have beat me to it. Jim Dandy and his brother (blonde hair, was his name Eddy) started at grammar school midstream, seem to think they came from shevington.

I wonder if the one stood at the start of the middle row(Left-Right) is Alan Leyland, it does resemble him slightly.
I put some pics. of our school outing to Wales on here, one of them shows Alan, one Aaron Ashurst and one of John Freeman, the last person looks like me. Did you know that Alan had passed away? It was about 1995ish.

Took me a while to recognise mi self on this photo, lot of water gone under the bridges since then, hope every-one I knew in Standish are well, I am living in Warrington now.

Think the photo was a little before 1958 - probably 1956 - as I was in top class in 1958 along with John Hartley, Phil Browne, Michael Morgan, Graham Hooson, John Bramley, John Darbyshire and many others!
