The dinner ladies...I presume....
Dinner ladies on the back row for certain, as my mum Ethel Lyons is 3rd from left she was a dinner lady from 1965 until she passed away suddenly in 1986
Dinner ladies and school secretary on the back and teaching staff on the front.
My mum, Mrs Aspinall is 3rd from the right on the back row, shes 87 years old now
I think I remember the lady in the front row third from the right forcing me to eat my sweet or have a free whack of the ruler!
went to scot lane from 76 to 81 best days of my life. met my first true freinds. just dont see them any more very sad.
Thats my Mum on the bottom row, third from the left, Joan Howes. She was the Head Mistress. We moved to the US in 1980 and Mum passed away a few years ago.
That's my mum too! Joan Howes, 3rd from left front row. Miss Marshall, on Mum's left, came to the US to visit us once.
i went to scot lane from 1967 to 1973. i remember mrs howes . .she was lovely, miss marshall is 3rd fromright . .she was tiny. i think the lady on end right was miss marsh ? i also remember miss rosce, mr gregory, mr hodkingson, mr roper, miss conroy (mrs sillitoe), mrs coburn, miss bentley, mrs brown ? . mrs howes used to be the head of the infants i think ? . i loved every minute at scot lane and still remember lots about it . so sad it has gone :(
i think the lady on the end is Mrs Holland. Mrs Marshall was scary - no-one wanted to be in her class at the end of infants. Mrs Colbourne was very stylish and Mr Roper an Miss Roscoe were just fantastic. I had Mrs sillitoe in first year of juniors but Mr Roper made up for it
Mrs Bradshaw second from left is my aunty. I was there 74-80 loved it.
