A KEMSLEY NEWSPAPERS LTD photograph, Not dated. Written on the back 'TIN CHAPEL ABRAM'
Looks like it was taken in the 1950's? If anyone can recognise anyone on the photo. Maybe they can identify the date?

A happy memories photo, I remember Walk Sunday at Holland Moor. I would think it must have been just before the 1950s as the dresses are all much the same pattern. When I knew the day, we all wore white dresses but none were the same, neither were the flowers. All the little ones were roped together by holding baskets...to keep them from straying I suppose !
Lovely photo.

I would definitely say 1950s with the dresses, and even with the men's clothing. I didn't live in Abram back then but I remember the tin chapel in later years and once made some masks for a concert which the scouts put on there, and my daughter and I were given free tickets. It was a lovely, homely place with photos of past walking days on the walls. Sadly it was demolished years ago.
