Wasn't Butlins brilliant back then! Maybe we were easily pleased but it certainly seemed that way.

Yes, Butlins was much better years ago, Hi de Hi and all that. We went around the late 80's / early 90's and it was filthy, we didn't stay and claimed our money back. Such a shame but yes, we have our happy memories of earlier times
Carole, I showed the pram picture to Gavin(my 6 year old grandson) he thought Mike(his grandad) was his Daddy(Andrew) who is actually in the pram. Didn't we used to say tansad?
Yes we ( you, Keith and I ) had tansads but I think we were up to prams at this stage. Don't know what you would call the latest versions...impossible comes to mind. I had to bring Stephanie's (my granddaughter) home from a shopping trip in the 'up' position, couln't drop it down for love or money. Give me a tansad any day, they made better go-carts and way :o)
