I used to go to school with Pey Burrows and John Sutch who both lived down the Foggy as we called it, Pey lived on the farm.We Millers Laners spent many hours going down the hill 60 on our home made trolleys until Fred Burrows chased us off.Tom Walls from Millers Lane used to give us rides on his horse and cart down Foggs Fold past the houses then onto Geno,s farm then back to Millers Lane,he used to charge us 1p, remember that Maggie or were you practising you piano,we could hear you all over Millers Lane, happy days.
does anybody know if Foggs Lane was near Foggs Fold, Grandma Sarah Hope was born at no 6 Foggs Lane in 1889 and got married fron 13 Ingram St in 1910 to John Thomas Farrimond at no 16 Moss Lane.
