Looks like the bus stop sign is in someones garden.
I find it hard to take in that this photo is over 20yrs old, great pic.
Bus stop sign is in the gap between the two rows of houses
lower grounders still stand next to the gable end of the house to shelter from the wind while waiting for the next bus
can see hunts shop at bottom giants hall rd ,lol
The shop at the top has long gone
that bus stop was once infront of my grandmothers house 'till she got it moved
This pic was when the community centre was over the way, where the new school is now. I lived on this road at 241 from 1977 to 1985 aged 13 then. Great community spirit around there then x great friends great memories
What is it like to live there now? Is their still a community feel and is it safe?
My aunty Gladys youd & aunty may used to live next door to the school
I lived in this area for 20 years went to the community centre for Brownies and Guides played tennis on the courts at the back and spent many a hour on the park Such good memories to many to mention of this place
