My sister (second row on the far left) Veronica Gaskell and I think that the girl directly above her is my cousin Barbara Denton.

Eric,i thought that was your sister and i recognised Barbara as well.

I recognise Barbara Denton and I think I can see cousins Marie and Mary Burke on the second row from the top. They were in my class at Cardinal Newman. I sent some Cardinal Newman School photos in to Wigan World a few months ago if anyone is interested. There are also other people on this photo that I seem to know but can't put a name to.

My brother Mick Togher is on front row,4th from left.

I also recognise Veronica Gaskell, she was in the same class as me at Cardinal Newman and 8th and ninth girls on second row from the front are Kathleen Walsh and Jean Connaughton also in my class. There are a few other familiar faces but no names I'm afraid.

I think I may see John Connaughton, Tony Moody, Terry Duffy and Dorothy Sharples.

I recognise quite a faces but not as many names, I am definately 2nd row far left, 3rd in Susan Conway, 5th in ???Donnelly, middle Kathleen Walsh, Jean Connaughton, Ann Gurhy, Margaret Denton, 3rd from right Kevin Keighly. 1st row 3rd from right Thomas Durkin then Eric Harrison. 3rd row far left Barbara Denton, 4th row Moira????then Dorothy Sharples and 5th row Mary Picup and the Burke girls. So many memories.

I am the fourth girl in from the left on the second row. I believe it is Jean Connaughton or Susan Conway next to me. We were all in the same class and went to Cardinal Newman together.

Morris Svabic - I am standing on the extreme left of the photograph, on the 3rd row. My brother Peter is 8 places in from the left on the 3rd row. I recognise John Connaughton, Terry Duffy, Tony Moody & Eric Harrison. Many other faces that I can't put names to but are remembered. Great memories.
