hi Christine bill winrow one of the twins, I remember you very well you ended up at Hindley and abram school I think .remember a lot of the names but not faces. You lived opposite Ernest Hodkinsons, my brother Brian and I used to go about with Ernest said he died young. I remember the three of us watching your sister Margaret's wedding as st johns church ,leaning against some garage doors near Bithells scrap yard. We are both 72 had our ups and down but still alive ,I have only just found this site its more than brilliant, one of our class photos is on somewhere which I have just printed, there is a photo of Ernest Hodkinson on as well in there back yard. hope you see this the site brings back so many memories, new springs has changed so much, we lived in chapel st. there was no proper road when it rained there was puddles everywhere, its a proper road now so much change our house has gone for the clubs car park the club is boarded up now.i moved to westhoughton when I got married 1967 that will be fifty year in September a life sentence I could go on forever lots of love if you see this.
