Wigan Album

I remember a lot of these ladies. I left Whitley the previous year(1975). We were the first boys to attend Whitley when it became a comprehensive school in 1972.

I can just about make Gillian Seddon out on the photo, she was in my tutor group (Mrs Lowe nee Phillips). Sian Hoyles mother was my English teacher.

I know all those faces but can't remember the names, what a blast from the past. I live on the other side of the world in Australia, and it takes me right back to Wigan looking at these photos

Hi everyone - brings back really fond memories and I don't think I ever got a copy of this at the time. I can still remember all of you even though I've lived in Rotherham for the past 20 years!

is one of yhe lads at the back stephen evans.ileft in 76 but ime not on the photo ,nadine brady went there from whelly middle.

i left whelley school to go to whitle in 1972,had a few good time's there when i was there,hahaha alway's in the woods

The two lads at the back are Geoff Farrimond and Dave Taylor.

Susan Higham is the girl right at the back on top left hand side. I had already left when this was taken but remember most of the girls in the photo---happy times

Happy times.I moved to Berkshire,America and then Hertfordshire but still remember fondly those great times in Wigan.
