The above isn’t a prodigious feat of memory – all the names were on the back of the original pic.
My very best friend Hazel Holt {Sharrock} attended UpHolland Secondary and I do believe she should be on this photo as her best friends were Ida, Sharon and one more I can't remember :-{ the 4 of them are still in touch and go away every year.
She was in that year but a different class to this one.
hi there does anyone have any pictures of stuart mather, thanks
Paul Smith - oh yes!Remember me?I left for Kent in 1973...
Also David Swift (fell into Carr Mill - in the local paper,I think)
Stephen Yates - had very long hair!!!
Michael Finney - holiday in the Isle of Man & a very embarassing moment....
And what of the Head Master,Mr Clark?
Kenneth Gregory was my uncle sadly passed away a few years back but lovely to see this picture of him
Does anyone have any photo's of our class? I believe we had a reunion, the year we all turned 40 and sadly I misses it. Would be great to have another one.
i never went to this school stummled on this site trying to find relatives, i think michael geoghegan may be that relative, his dad was my grand-dad, this was his second family, so would michael my uncle, would love to hear from you to confirm if you are,
Was this school once named St. James? I think this is the school I attended in the fifties. A Mr. Clark was headmaster. I think there was a Miss Tinsley and a teacher called Mr. Humphries
Thanks Gillian Rothwell Rose. USA
it was just by chance that i came across this picture which for me was lovely to see as my wonderful husband Gordon Bodey Died at the very young age of 56 just over 2 and a half years ago it will be 3 years on 28thof july this year from cancer of the blood myleoma. It is nice to say we had a wonderful life and his death has had a profound affect on many people as he was a wonderful man.
