This is the old G.C. engine shed, opposite the big rock, it's now a small housing estate.Ithink it closed in 1952?
Karen - I am putting together a Calendar of railway views within St Mary's Parish to raise money for church funds. I would like to use this view for this(and the one of the bridge at Ince Green Lane, and that of the train by Spring View Cricket Club - assuming there's only one 'Karen' involved in sending the pics here). Would you let me know if you are happy for me to do this, please? They would, of course, be acknowledged to you.

I am compiling information and photographs for a book on the steam engine sheds of Wigan, Warrington, Widnes, St Helens, Southport, and Northwich. I would like to know whether it would be possible to consider using this for my proposed book (with suitable acknowledgment) and whether you have any other railway-orientated photos of the above areas?
