used to have a job where we used to get relieved at Bamber Bridge by Crewe traincrew and if Standish Junction used to turn us over Whelley line i'd drop off at Roundhouse box and my driver would book me off at Springs Branch
Another excellent shot, taken from the tracks, by the look or things! I could almost see this 'box' from my bedroom in Northumberland St.

As I recall the box was destroyed by fire in I think 1972.
