A great photograph showing 4 modes of transport Car, Horse Drawn Van belonging to the L.M.S. Railway Company. Bike and Pram. Also 5 well known shops of the time. Wallaces, Slaters, Maypole, Craddocks and Liptons. At the back of the shops you can make out the roof of the Empire. Don't know if at the time of the photograph, it was still a Music Hall or a Cinema
