Park Lane Unitarian school was founded in 1813, later about 1830 a new school was built adjacent to the Chapel on the north side and later still an upper floor was added. In 1902 the school that is now standing was funded by Ann Shaw a member of the Chapel congregation.

is this the church across from landgate estate,if so my mother was caretaker and did school dinners in the early 1950s,i think i have some photo,s somewhere.

I am a member of Park Lane Chapel and would be interested in seeing any photo's or literture regarding the chapel

Great to share these old photographs, they bring back happy memories. I am now far away in N.Z. but my thoughts are forever at Park Lane Chapel.

Went to school there in 1924 and from there on to AGS. Wonderful place with so many sincere and friendly people. Still keep in touch altho I am here in the USA and am now almost 92. Memories memories so good to retain them .

Marjorie, you must have known my auntie Florrie ( Lomax), my Dad was Jimmy Lomax...You are the same age as Florrie, a couple of years younger than my Dad...
