Hello Charlie. This photo was taken in March 1983. I can remember the date because I actually got 2 hours at rest day rate for attending for the same 'photocall'.
1970's, how old do you think I am Chas. Young Finney's nearer the mark. Good gang we had together, wonder where they all are now.
1983 Jim ? I retired in Sept '83, that's why I thought the photo was taken late '70s. Ah well, memory lapse again !!
Do any of you remember Stuart Cooper who was a Police Cadet early 1960's? I remember you Jack Wareing, I used to work as a Typist in Admin. early 1960's. Happy days.
I`m still hanging on in here....those were the days. I still have a copy og the local rag that pictured all of us when the scheme started,i have to dig it out and scan it.
