had some good nights in the oddfellows pub known locally as the Pingy my husband and i had our wedding reception there in 1970 when Author and mabell {cant remember their surname}were the licencee,s all my family lived in Bridgewater st the "pingy" was on the corner
my husbands family lived in bridgewater st at no 27 they are called thompson his mum was agnes& they were a large family,he would like too know your family name thank you

my great grandmother was born at 27 bridgewater st. in 1898.
her name was birchall-waring.
when she died the family lived at 38 bridgewater st.
dear pamker my husband remembers your family,they moved to no 28,then when the houses were up for demolition they moved to platt bridge.
my family are from john st-albert and annie molyneux my grandparents lived at 12a and my parents brian and doreen lowe lived at 29 next door to the parry family does anyone remember them?
yes i know the Thompsons my granmothers name was Leyland/ne Finch the finches lived in Bridgewater st from the early 1800s at number 30.they were a large family and occupied a few houses in that street.My grandma and grandad and her sister were there untill the houses came down so there was always a Leyland/Finch in that street.Happy memories
