The choir at the head of the procession. Taken near the end of Dawson Avenue on Gidlow Lane by my father, Mr. Ernest Woodcock. Frank Cartwright was the vicar.

There's more than the sun
that gives us warmth,
There's more than a gift
with such memories,
We don't forget and never do,
what Walking Days meant ,
as each years passing scent,
stay's as fragrant as those who we loved..

Lovely poem e.I love these walking day photos.Which I doubt we will ever see again.Such a shame.They are precious memories.
