In the earlier view of this chapel, when it was being used as the Excelsior Bakery, the bakery sign had been positioned over the church sign, with the terracotta border still showing. Since that view, the main entrance, and most of the two side windows have been blocked up - and the lean-to, with a new entrance, built on to the left. By the age of the brickwork, this may have happened while the bakery was still in occupation.
Taken around 2000, a few years before it was demolished to make way for housing.
