I recognised John Taylor right away....he lived round the corner from me when I was growing up in Ince and we share the same birthday, but a year apart.
Well, what a nice surprise in seeing this picture here😀, my copy disappeared 20yrs ago😟. I wonder if anyone else still as the picture or medals ( I have mine) that we got with the cups. God I’m feeling old ( I am) looking at the picture😰, I can remember everyone but can’t remember were James S, Harold A and Dave A played 🤔. Vic, did you have all the names on the back? Mine did 😀
Know them all, all good lads. RIP Norman Aspinall a great lad taken from us far too soon but never forgotten.
Did Stephen Bennett live in Thirlmere Avenue?
Stephen Bennet lived in Manley st lower ince when we kids he had a younger brother Graham
Reply for Ian Cross, nothing on the back of my picture just remember them as team mates and especially the win at Central Park! Big Ben live in Lower Ince. John Taylor and Big Ben were the key players in the team though. Norman was a great lad and so sad he died so early
