That must be the Congregational Church in the background. I remeber going in with my grandfather when I was a child. It seemed vast.

So much character in the church building - tragic that it's no longer here along with other buildings - to make room for bland inferiority. We took everything for granted in Wigan, not realising what we had. What would we have done without the treasure house of photographs such as these.... Thanks for showing us the photos Frank.
